2023 HUD NOFO
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Office of Special Needs Assistance Programs (SNAPS) has posted the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 Continuum of Care Competition and the Renewal Replacement of Youth Homeless Demonstration Program grants. Approximately $3.1 billion is available through this NOFO nationally.

Specifically, HUD is seeking projects that:
- EEnding homelessness for all persons
- EUse a Housing First approach
- EReducing unsheltered homelessness
- EImproving system performance
- EEngaging persons with Lived Experience
- EPartnering with housing, health, and service agencies
- ERacial equity
- EImproving assistance to LGBTQ+ individuals
- EIncreasing affordable housing supply

Mandatory proposal meetings (agencies must attend one). Check back for Zoom registration information.

Project applications (New & Renewal) are due in e-snaps.
September 11, 2022
Rank & Review will finalize scores. All project applicants will be notified via email of project acceptance/rejection and ranking.
September 12, 2022
Project applicant appeals must be received by close of business.
September 13, 2022
Final ranking will be posted on this website. See button at bottom of page to download this year’s ranking.
September 25, 2022
The final Consolidated Application will be posted on this website.
Applications for the FY 2023 CoC Program NOFO are due to HUD on September 28, 2023.
