Committees

Our committees consist of member volunteers who are responsible for decision-making and shaping the direction of collaborative actions and policies to address homelessness. Committees are open to all members.

HMIS

This committee is responsible for reviewing and improving data performance by implementing a data quality plan and advancing compliance and security measures by improving policies and procedures.

Meetings: First Thursday of every month at 3:30pm via Zoom

Coordinated Entry

This committee guides the operation and course of the coordinated entry structure and determines how its system will address the needs of homeless individuals and families.

Meetings: First Friday of every month at 9:00am via Zoom

Housing

This committee works to increase permanent, affordable housing opportunities for extremely low-income households who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness.

Meetings: Quarterly, First Friday at 11:30am via Zoom

Homeless Prevention

This committee works to coordinate homeless prevention services within the CoC’s five-counties by brining CoC-funded and non-funded providers of prevention assistance together.

Meetings: Quarterly, Second Wednesday at 10:00am via Zoom

Veteran Strategic Planning

This committee works to establish a strategic plan for ending veteran homelessness.

Meetings: Second Wednesday of every month at 1:00pm via Zoom

Lived Expertise

This committee serves as the voice of representation and advocacy for the currently and formerly homeless population within the CoC.

Meetings: Third Tuesday of every month at Alachua County Library Headquarters at 1:00pm
